CHRIS HUBLER
ABUA, GB
Chris Hubler is a 1997 Honor Graduate of Jim Evans’ Academy of Professional Umpiring. After advancing through the Major League Baseball Umpire Development Program, he began a minor league umpiring career that lasted through the 2006 season.
During his years in professional baseball, Chris worked in the Pioneer, Midwest, Florida State, Eastern, Pacific Coast, and International Leagues. He umpired championship series in the Pioneer, Florida State, and Eastern Leagues, as well as playoffs in the Midwest and International Leagues. In addition, Chris worked the 2002 All-Star Futures Game and MLB Homerun Derby in Milwaukee i, as well as the 2003 Hall of Fame game in Cooperstown, NY.
Chris was an instructor at the Jim Evans professional school from 1998 to 2006. During the 2005 and 2006 sessions, he served as the Chief Instructor. After his retirement from professional baseball, Chris has continued as a clinician for JEAPU. In 2008, Chris traveled to Rouen, France to teach umpires from twelve European Union countries.
Chris continues to umpire at the college level for the Colonial Athletic Association and MEAC conferences. Additionally, he works as a trainer and advisor for the Chesapeake Basin Collegiate Umpire Association.
Chris has a BA in Organizational Dynamics from La Salle University and is employed by Yellowbook USA. He resides in Newtown, PA with his wife, Jennifer. Chris enjoys golf and following Iowa Hawkeye football in his free time.

THOMAS HAYWOOD
Thomas first started umpiring in 2004 in Edinburgh, Scotland. In 2005 he went to the Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring in Kissimmee to do the Florida Classic and then graduated from the 5 week school thereafter. Additionally he attended the Desert Classic in 2006 and has done photography at the 5 week school since 2007 for Jim Evans. Thomas is a CEB Umpire and has umpired in 12 countries round the world. He currently umpires in the French Elite, British National League as well as European Tournaments. In Sept 2009 he umpired in 3 World Cup training games involving Sweden and South Korea.

TONY JONES
Tony first started umpiring at the age of 10 in California and umpired for 6 years through Little League and up to High School level. He started umpiring in Finland in 1997 and is the current Director of Umpires in Finland. Tony currently umpires in the Swedish Elite Series and the Finnish SM-liiga and is a CEB umpire trainer. Worked 3 CEB Euro Cup Qualifiers, 1 CEB European Championship Qualifier, 3 Nordic / Baltic Championships, 2 Swedish Elite Series Finals and 8 Finnish SM-liiga Finals. In 2009 umpired in 3 World Cup training game involving Sweden and South Korea. Graduate of the 1st Jim Evans European Classic in 2008 in Rouen, France and the 2009 MLB Umpire Camp in Compton, California.

SERGE MAKOUCHETCHEV
27 years old French Umpire, working CEB tournaments (2 B pool Cups, 2 European Championships Qualifier, 4 A pool Cups, 2 European Championships U21, 1 European Olympic Qualifier), and IBAF Tournaments (WBUC 2002, Good Luck Beijing 2007) 2 times graduated from Jim Evans Professional Umpiring Academy, 5 weeks course 2004 and 2005, worked as field instructor staff in 2008 Jim Evans European Classic.
Serge had lived a great experience at the Academy in Florida, umpiring and human wise. He knows that no one can leave the course without wonderful memories no matter how long you spend with peoples that will be present.
